Oldest Government Law Center Launches Blog for Innovators and Entrepreneurs

The oldest government law center in the U.S. (GLC) launched its blog yesterday on law, innovation and entrepreneurship. Housed within Albany Law School, and originally established to “promote interdisciplinary study and research in government and the problems facing government,” the GLC blog exists to support innovators and entrepreneurs across New York State, providing them with information relevant to the start-up process.

The GLC’s blog launch comes the same week Upstate Venture Connect highlighted one of its newest projects focused on mapping New York’s start-up ecosystem. These efforts, combined with the State’s billion dollar Green Bank Initiative, just might give energy tech entrepreneurs, in particular, the boost they need to secure badly needed capital, connect to strategic partners, and build their companies in New York.
